The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce has a main focus on business to business development and a strong community outreach. That is how I describe the chamber when asked by peers. I joined the Exeter Chamber of Commerce in the beginning of 2006. On a limited marketing budget I was hoping this would be a good opportunity to gain visibility on the seacoast and build clientele. Through the various networking opportunities and participation on committees I have been able to achieve that goal. The Exeter Chamber provided the forum and guidance. Over the years I have become more active in the chamber and was awarded the Business of the Year for 2009 in financial services.
