Mary’s Dogs Rescue and Adoption (MDRA) is a compassionate, non-profit rescue dedicated to saving dogs and placing them in loving homes in the Northeast. Established in 2011 by Mary Doane, MDRA rescues over 800 dogs a year from high kill shelters in the South and has grown a vast network of volunteers and fosters in the process. As a compassionate non-profit dog rescue, MDRA strives to continue to raise awareness through outreach education programs within the community, local schools and businesses. MDRA is not only raising awareness for rescue in general, but also the need for spay/neuter programs in the South. This supports our mission, and assists in saving more abused, frightened and neglected dogs, regardless of their breed, size or age.
We are located at 984 1st NH Turnpike, Northwood, NH. A sign for Mary's Dogs is located at the driveway entrance.
