Demographics Breakfast Forum with Peter Francese

The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce presents a Breakfast Forum featuring demographics expert Peter Francese on Thurs., March 8 at 7:30 a.m. at Camelot at the Holy Grail in Epping, NH. Francese is a widely recognized demographics and consumer markets expert, founded American Demographics Magazine (now part of Ad Age) and speaks and writes frequently on demographic and consumer trends.

He is a recipient of the Silver Bell Award from the Advertising Council for distinguished public service. He holds a graduate degree from Cornell University and has served on the University President’s Council.

Among his other work, Francese is an independent demographic trends analyst for the worldwide advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather. The New England Economic Partnership (a non-profit public research organization) has also appointed him to be their Director of Demographic Forecasts www.neepecon.org.

The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 2012 Economic Forecast Breakfast Forum on Tues., Jan. 24 at Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland from 7:30-9 a.m. Featured speaker Ross Gittell, Ph.D., James R. Carter Professor of Management, WhittemoreSchool of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire, will offer insights into New Hampshire’s economic forecast for 2012.

Gittell holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University; a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago. Dr. Gittell is active on numerous Boards and commissions and was recently named Chancellor of the Community College System of NH.

Each year, the Seacoast Chamber Alliance teams up to bring this one-of-a-kind event to the area. The Seacoast Business Expo brings together dozens of businesses and hundreds of contacts, giving all the opportunity to effectively connect with hundreds of potential business partners during the 3-hour event.

Previous exhibiting local businesses have included Allegra Print & Imaging, Granite State College, DF Richard Energy, BayRing Communications, Staff Hunters, William C. The 28th Annual Chamber Sweepstakes: July 22 “Christmas in July!”

The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 28^th Annual Sweepstakes presented by Foy Insurance on Fri., July 22 at the Ashworth by the Sea from 5:30 – 9 p.m. It will truly be “Christmas in July” when one lucky ticket holder will win the Grand Prize of $10,000.

Tickets are on sale now. With only 300 tickets for sale at $100 each, this as great opportunity to win one of many cash prizes. The Grand Prize winner need not be present to win. Dozens of other fabulous prizes will be drawn for those present. Each ticket admits two to the event (must be at east 18 yrs. of age) and includes dinner and valet parking. Entertainment by Party Time DJ will add to the festive “Christmas in July” atmosphere.
